Hi, I’m Ganlin Xiang, a rising junior studying physics at Renmin University of China. I love learning how the universe works through physics, and I’m equally curious about the mechanisms behind emergent behavior in LLMs. I also enjoy conversations about the social sciences, philosophy, and the patterns we notice in society. I study the synthesis and characterization of two-dimensional materials, including the growth of transition-metal dichalcogenides such as MoS₂ inside optical fibers using all-liquid-phase precursors.
